COP22

At COP22 SCENARIO students from the University of Reading (http://www.met.reading.ac.uk/nercdtp/home/) are partnering up with the Walker Institute, UNFCCC and Deutsche Telekom in an exciting new venture. To read a PhD student perspective of the event, this website is the best place to be.

This new venture, COPbot, provides a new way of conducting interviews, providing young UK researchers the ability to interview delegates at COP22. Our aim as young researchers is to understand the political process that takes place during COP and to understand the best way in which environmental science research can shape itself for effective climate policy and disaster risk reduction.

Updates are written from two perspectives. You can either read about Caroline and Josh’s work in Marrakech or alternatively read summaries on COP22 Blue Zone side events from the perspective of UK students at the University of Reading. Both webpages also contain interesting interview summaries from delegates at COP22.
